VarsIQ Media LLC is an independent, digital-first sports media outlet founded by Thomas Maibauer and based in Strongsville, Ohio. We deliver high-quality, intelligent storytelling that highlights athletes at every level—from youth and high school competition to collegiate and professional play.

Our mission is to deliver thoughtful, consistent sports journalism that combines written features, photography, and video to document the defining moments that shape our local sports landscape.

As our coverage expands, we will enter new cities and levels of competition, but will always remain centered on telling the athlete’s story.
